No Change in Class Timetable

Dear Parents,

The finalised class timetable for Term 1 is out. I will not be issuing out a new timetable to the class as there is only one minor changes to one of the FTGP period. 

Tuesday's FTGP period (7.30am to 8am) will be changed to an Assembly period. The rest of the periods are not affected. 

Your child can continue to use the existing timetable that was given out on the first week of school.

Start of Swimming Lessons

Dear Parents,

Swimming lessons will begin tomorrow, 17 January 2019. It is held during curriculum time (PE lesson). 

I gave out a letter with the dates of the swimming lessons and the things to bring. Do ensure that your child has an extra small bag containing the items listed in the letter. Your child is to report to school in his/her PE attire with the swimming costume underneath.

Spelling List for Term 1

Dear Parents,

I gave out the English spelling list for term 1 today. Do endorse it and make a copy if needed. 

A new component for spelling this year is dictation. Your child will not need to memorise the text but I will be reading it out sentence by sentence. Hence, your child will only need to know how to spell the words in the text and to use a capital letter at the start of the sentence.

Timetable for First 4 Weeks of School

Dear Parents,

I have issued out the timetable to your child yesterday. There are some important things to note which I have highlighted to your child:

1. Wear school uniform with bow/tie on Mondays
2. PE attire to be worn on Thursday (for girls, they have to wear a skirt)
3. Timetable is only for the first 4 weeks of school (up to 25 Jan)

A new timetable will be issued out thereafter. Do also ensure that your child has a mini whiteboard with a marker in his/her bag at all times.

Welcome Back

Dear Parents, 

I welcome your child back to school and I'm glad to be the form teacher of 2D once again, together with Ms Aisyah. It is going to be an exciting year ahead for all of us!
